Facilitate national dialogue on governance
National dialogue is one of the most popular tools for conflict resolution and political transformation. In the past several years, national dialogues have been proposed and carried out in Nigeria, and several other countries. It has the capacity to broaden debate regarding a country’s trajectory beyond the usual elite decision makers.

Broaden the debate about good governance
SCDTL facilitates national dialogue on good governance by working with divers’ stakeholders, resource persons and experts. The aims of such dialogues are to broaden the debate about good governance and expectations of the people. It provides the opportunity for conversation about underlying drivers of conflict and ways to holistically address these issues.
Work with key stakeholders as credible conveners
Our approach incorporates the principles of inclusion, transparency and public participation, a far-reaching agenda, appropriate and clear rules of procedure, as well as implementation plan. We work together with key stakeholders as credible conveners and facilitators of national dialogues on governance.
